I don't think the Pats will be in trouble. I think they will focus on shutting down the run as they have many times in the past. They will try to make Sanchez beat them. Who knows where big Vince will play, they've been moving him around. The only way I see the Jets scoring many points is off of turnovers. They don't have an explosive offense and I think the Pats D can control the run and defend Sanchez well. I still think we'd have a harder time with Indy than the Jets. Both teams have their strengths but I expect a big game from Woodhead. If Brady gets his timing down, the Jets will be finished early. The Jets were pushing around the speed defence of Indy. The Pats are better at stopping the run but they are susceptible to wearing down if they are on the field too long. Manning is better versus the Pats since they lack an outstanding pass rusher. Manning knows just about every blitz package since Dungy tutored him on this. Sanchez was over throwing his receivers too many times but if he gets his act together, watch out.. The Jets run game is solid with L.T., but the Pats are geared to stop the run. They know each other very well, either Brady will make mistakes or Sanchez will catch fire. I expect the Jets to stay on the ground. I don't see the Jets winning but I also expected Indy to win. I figured that the Seahawks would win.

The Saints were playing .500 football almost all season so I expected them to be out early. The Seahawks have the weapons but like the Cards of a few years back, they are just starting to put all the elements to their game together. Hassleback tried to block on that Lynch TD run so he's trying. Lynch is always a problem for tacklers. The Seahawks might just win the NFC, maybe even the Superbowl.

Well much as I hate the Packers, I'm glad they beat Vick and the Eagles just now. Final was 21-16. Akers missed 2 FG, Vick threw a pick on the final play that could have won the game for them.

That means next week we (Bears) will play the weakest of the NFC teams, the Seahawks.

True that Seattle beat us this year in the regular season and they did look pretty good yesterday against the Saints.

But I still like our chances better against them.

I think the Bears can beat Seattle, but I have to say I was impressed how they played yesterday. The Saints missed a lot of tackles and Seattle was in control. Plus I didn't even know that Lawyer Milloy played for the Seahawks. I didn't even know he was still playing. We had him and Ty Law in the backfield so many years ago. It's funny because the two of them were so highly paid back then and now a bench warmer makes more than two stars did.

I think Green Bay can beat Atalanta. Anyway, we'll find out how good Atlanta really is. They seem to be the real deal. And there are two BC quarterbacks still in the playoffs, Hasselbeck and Ryan.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh should be a good game, but I think the Steelers will win. They both have a good defense, but the Steelers have a better QB and offense. I like New England's chances against the Jets and I'm sure Rex will say a few stupid things during the week that Belichick will use for bulletin board material. You know he loves this matchup and it will be a good venue to display his coaching skills. Obviously anything can happen, but I still believe that the Pats have to beat themselves to lose this game. I almost wish they didn't have the extra week to rest, I fear it may throw them out of rhythm. They were on a roll and I don't want to lose them momentum
