The Ravens and Steelers will both have trouble with the Pats, as would Indy, the Jets or KC.

Woodhead is the big question mark. If Brady connects to him, then I can't think of too many teams that can contain him. He is almost as fast as Randy Moss but was a running back so he should be able to deal with to the constant pounding. The Ravens and the Steelers have tough secondaries, this should be good.

I think that the Pats have to beat themselves in order to lose. And that is exactly what they did last year in the playoff game against Baltimore. Baltimore's offense doesn't score many points. Turnovers are the key. If New England protects the ball like they did all season, they will be very hard to beat. If Brady throws 4 picks, it's a different story. They had so few turnovers all season, that's what scares me. The playoffs isn't the time to have a bad game. As Mr. Bill said today, all the remaining teams are good.( I doubt if he meant Seattle, but he had to be diplomatic. ) It's a one game series now. No second chance. If NE is off their game, they're all done. Same with everyone else.

They've played at such a high level all season and the D seems to have come into it's own the last several games. Hopefully they are peaking at the right time. I don't see them losing unless they make a few mistakes. The Steelers and Ravens always have a tough defense, now the Steelers have an offense to go with it. The same can't be said for the Ravens. I never count Indy out as long as Manning is in there. Funny thing is, he usually beats himself when they lose in the playoffs. Nothing was more satisfying than him throwing that pick in the Super Bowl last year. I jumped up and screamed Yess!!! I just loved that look of disgust on his face.

The only reason I rag on him is because he is so damn good. I respect him tremendously. But if I was starting a team tomorrow, I'd take Brady over him. Montana and Elway were two of the greatest, IMHO, and I put Tom in that category. He's a winner.

I wouldn't look past the Seahawks. Just remember the Cards a few years back, they almost won the Super Bowl and they had a terrible record. Tom Brady and Manning are among the elite QBs but both are products of their respective systems (as are all QBs). Brady plays it a bit better but Manning is the better QB. None of this matters since it is the team that wins or loses but we all agree that Favre is overrated and underdressed.

But the Cards had Kurt Warner.

Warner was OK but the Seahawks have Hasselback, Whitehurst (?), and ...J.P. Losman (the next great Bills QB, arm like a cannon, runs like Vick, brains of a rabbit) and Marshawn Lynch (everybody seems to be leaving the Bills). Could be interesting.

Seattle holds on to win it 41-36. Good game. NO defense was on the sloppy side today, lots of missed tackles.

That run by Marshawn Lynch was pretty amazing. All he really wanted to do was get a few yards for a first down. Instead he took it all the way downfield. Too bad the Bills let him go, huh 5? I'm glad Seattle won, I'd rather face them than Saints.

Jets and Colts are underway now, no score after the first few drives. That was an idiot challenge by Indy on the Santonio Holmes kick return. He obviously did not touch the ball.

Lynch was always a problem for other teams but the Bills Offensive Line was terrible so he never got much of a chance to get into the secondary. He just flicked away away Porter like a fly on that run.

Lynch was a problem for Buffalo, as well.

Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch has been accused of stealing $20 from a woman at a TGI Friday’s last month, according to Lou Michel of the Buffalo News.

Lynch was at the popular restaurant chain in Hamburg, New York on December 7, 2009 when he allegedly grabbed a $20 bill from a woman who was trying to pay her check.

As luck would have it for Lynch, the woman’s husband is Buffalo Police Sgt. William Crawford, who filed the complaint against Lynch a day after the incident.

“She’s terrified of him. He threatened her girlfriend who tried to retrieve the money after he robbed my wife,” Crawford told the Buffalo News. “He thinks he’s above the law because of his status as an athlete.”

This latest batch of trouble for Lynch comes less than one year after he was arrested in Culver City, California on felony charges for possession of a concealed firearm.

He received three years’ probation and was suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for the first three games of the 2009 regular season.

No word yet on what Goodell plans to do about Lynch’s latest run-in with the law.

...Last summer, Lynch pleaded guilty to misdemeanor gun possession after he was popped in Los Angeles for having a firearm in his car. Less than a year prior to that, Lynch was involved in a hit-and-run in downtown Buffalo.

Maybe the change of scenery has done him some good.

Looks like Ralph Wilson, and company, disagreed.

Speaking of criminals, enjoy the off season Braylon.
