All joking aside, I'd love to see the Jets take out Indy and KC beat Baltimore this weekend. And then KC beat the Steelers. Then we'd just have to beat the Jets and KC and it's Super Bowl time. Baltimore and Indy scare me.

That doesn't count. The Pats are firing on all cylinders right now. I don't see any AFC team with the defence to stop them. I thought maybe the Chiefs or Ravens but I'm not sure if anyone can slow down Tom Brady right now.

Baltimore could, but they don't score much, unless the Pats beat themselves like they did last year in the playoff game against the Ravens. Indy is never out of the running as long as that !@#$%#$#$ Manning is playing. I'm not worried about our offense, I worry about our defense or that they'll commit 6 turnovers in the first playoff game. Brady only threw 4 picks all year, and I think they only turned the ball over 9 times. I'm superstitious, those two stats bug me.

Baltimore and the Steelers are the real threats. Baltimore's defence can score and they have a solid running attack. Pittsburgh is just like Baltimore. KC lost to the Raiders in the last game of the season which is a bit strange but who knows if the Mid-West Patriots are for real. Jets won't go far, Sanchez is slipping but we'll see what happens.

Jets vs. Indy, pick the Colts but it's going to be close. KC is going to have problems with the Ravens unless the running game gets going.

My weekend hopes:

NFC - I'd like to see the Packers beat the Eagles, and the Seahawks beat Saints. That sets up for next week as a Bears vs. Seahawks match, our most beatable combination, while the Falcons would play Green Bay. Likely? Probably not. More realistically New Orleans will win so we'd wind up playing them (unless Philly wins). That's still ok. Facing a southern warm weather dome stadium team like the Saints in mid January at Soldier Field - I like the Bears chances in that lineup. Especially with Ivory and Pierre Thomas on IR.

AFC - Go Colts!!!!! All the way. I'd love to see a Bears/Colts Superbowl.

I really do hope Manning gets his a$$ kicked, but I really don't think that is going to happen. Indy will win and so will Baltimore. We'll get the Ravens and the Steelers get Manning.

If the Eagles beat the Spread, does that make them the Spread Eagles. Pack over VapoRub and Saints over the Seahawks. If the Ravens win then they will represent the AFC. Pats are going to have trouble with both the Ravens and Steelers, Colts will play in the Superbowl if KC wins. Pats will go if both Steelers and Ravens are out, other than that it's going to be very tough for Brady against the two teams in the AFC that seem to cause him problems. Who knows, first the Ravens have to win. KC and the Jets might both win.

The Ravens and Steelers will both have trouble with the Pats, as would Indy, the Jets or KC.
