in all seriousness i have bitterness from not choosing rodgers over smith anyway. smith was never the right person to run our offense or any other for that matter. he can only run a spread offense sometimes, a no trick or one trick pony at best.

Thank god the 49ers fired Singletary. Now he can come be our defensive coordinator. He's a great coach, but I just think he needed more coordinator experience before taking a head coaching job. Looks like the raiders are in the same boat, but with a better offense and a worse draft pick. I hope they sign a free agent QB, and don't be morons and trade people to get Cam Newton or Andrew Luck.

@rob and mel, i think singletary is a great defensive coach but head coach? nope he lacks a fair amount of the maturity (maybe not the right word, can't put my finger on it). i wish him reasonably well elsewhere. truth told however we really need to fire the entire damn york family they know less than nothing about football. give eddie d his team back.

Brady came out for a play or two and then back in. I think they will try to put up some points in the first half and then take him out. They will try to win the game without using the starters in the second half.

Dolphins spoil the shutout. Pats season ends on another fine performance. 14-2 for the third time under Belichick along with a 16-0. They won the Super Bowl on the two 14-2 seasons and lost it on the 16-0. I hope this is a good omen.
