Ufk Brady and 'nem.

What I like to ask every "I'm a Chicago Bears fan" is "who is Lance Briggs?" Surprisingly enough, many "Bears fans" don't know.

I just hope the Bengals don't get beat by the Bills this weekend. I'll have to get real-time updates from you guys though since we didn't sellout this home game and I can't watch on TV.

.... in other news... would anyone like a team full of talent that can seem to win? My high school team was better than these jokers. I'm done with the Bengals. Go Browns!

You're a Browns fan now!

You mean the guy who said "I'll never play another down for Chicago again" in 2007 over a contract dispute, only to sign a multiyear contract with them the very following year?

We've buried the hatchet with Briggs. He's a loyal member of the D-fense, and bygones are bygones. Note however that it's Brian Urlacher #54 and not Briggs #55 who wears the Captain's "C" on his jersey. Maybe loyalty and leadership do ultimately count for more than dollars. Maybe.

Besides ... just who appointed you the arbiter of who is a "Bear fan", with quotation marks or without?

NE lucked out big time today, relying on Manning to choke and throw an interception to end the game. NE nearly blew a 17 point lead as they have in the last few years against the Colts. I just want to see someone lay a few good hits on Manning and ring his bell. He has to be the luckiest SOB that has every played the game. Except when it really counts.

Now it's on to Detroit for the Turkey day game. I hope they have something left. We still have the Bears and Jets coming up, two tough games.

And how about Buffalo knocking of the Bengals? And the Jets last second win against Houston? And let's not overlook another productive day for Favre and the Vikings. He's beyond washed up, he's an embarrassment.

Peyton threw not only the pick at the end of the game when they were in field goal range and could have taken it to overtime by just tying the score. He also threw 2 other interceptions in the game for a total of 3, including one on the first drive of the game that NE returned immediately for their first go ahead score. Peyton bookended the game with interceptions, and tossed one into the middle for good measure. Dickwad. Still I got a decent fantasy score out of him this week, so not complaining too much.

Favre and Brad Childress will not finish the season in Minnesota. I expect both will be gone before the end of the regular season. Needless to say the Vikings won't have a post season this year.

Buffalo has some real weapons, which their record belies. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Fred Jackson would get a lot more cred if they were on a team with a better record. Similarly for Shaun Hill and Calvin Johnson at Detroit.

At this point in the season, with the bye weeks behind us and the post-season starting to come into focus, I like the Eagles as overall Superbowl favorites. Vick and DeSean Jackson are starting to look as unbeatable as Brady/Moss a few years ago. Plus Vick's ability to run puts him in a category all his own.

AFC North fan. I can't pick the Browns. Just can't.

Besides ... just who appointed you the arbiter of who is a "Bear fan", with quotation marks or without?

Self-appointed. Just like how I get to choose who's "american."

Seriously though, I hear a lot of folks say, "Oh, I love the Bears" (Being in the SW corner of Ohio I'm close enough to catch some southern Indiana and even a few Ohio "Bears fans.") When I ask about Lance Briggs and they draw a blank it's like asking who Scotty Pippen is and hearing, "I don't know."

And how about Buffalo knocking of the Bengals?

Boooo. Bengals are horrible this year.

I'm almost glad they didn't win because then we would've had false hope.

"Well, I'm not going to sit here and cry like Brett Favre."

my niners are 3-7 and still only 2 games out of first. we have some real offensive problems, the quarterback situation is tenuous at best, troy smith was like a prostitute yesterday..."stomach to the sky" 6 sacks. i'll say it again 6 FRIGGIN' SACKS. gore was rendered ineffectual. i could woe is me about my niners all day. first shutout at home since before i was born!!!

favre SHOULD go away, his personal troubles aside since i could care less about that, he's done. on a brighter note qb wise michael vick should get back some real money at his next go around for a contract if he continues to play this way playing really well in my book. don't know anyone in philly, wonder if they are taking a shine to him. he won't likely reclaim the kind of money he was making pre dog incident but should be just fine. now let's see if he can stay out of trouble.

i can't believe the o/u for the game tonight is 50!!!! go chargers!

"stomach to the sky" 6 sacks. i'll say it again 6 FRIGGIN' SACKS.

In week 4, the Giants sacked Jay Cutler and the Bears ten (count 'em TEN) times, knocking Cutler out of the game with a concussion.

But last week the Bears had 6 sacks in the 16-0 win over Miami on Thursday night.

I can tell you that 6 sacks and a shutout in a football game feels an awful lot better when it's your guys doing it to the other team

yeah i remember week 4 and cutler's misery, he got hit so hard and often i'm not sure he can remember it happened. probably for the best.

i bet it feels loads better to be dishing the sacks and shutouts but *sigh* that is not in our immediate future. i was one of the jokers that bought into singletary last year but i'm cooling off and close to lumping him in with mariucci and nolan.

i say give my team back to the criminials!!!! EDDIE D....EDDIE D...EDDIE D. the yorks know less about football than my never been to the u.s. before great grandfather

hey scandal psssst update your profile

First time in my life the JETS play on Thanksgiving...

I am super excited and hope the JETS win a "normal" game

Ah, Thanksgiving. A day for turkey, and a day for football.

I'm watching the Lions/Patriots game now (Detroit leading 17-10 at halftime).

I'll have to miss the Saints/Cowboys when we go to my cousins for turkey feast.

Hoping to get back home tonight in time to watch Begals/Jets.

Loving this day
