Well, let's see...

Season totals up to week 7, i.e. not including this week:

Favre has 1191 passing yards, 21st in NFL QBs, but ahead of Mark Sanchez, Kevin Kolb.

He has 7 TDs, tied for 8th place along with Jay Cutler, Josh Freeman and Vince Young.

In other words - he's far from stellar, but he is a journeyman QB who's in the pack with other brand name franchise QBs. He's not exactly shitting his pants, which is something to say for a guy about ready to collect Social Security.

His QB rating was 30th in the NFL before todays game. He's an ego maniac and it's all about him. He may hold every major passing record, but I don't think he's even in the top 10 for greatest QB's all time.

His QB rating was 30th in the NFL before todays game. He's an ego maniac and it's all about him. He may hold every major passing record, but I don't think he's even in the top 10 for greatest QB's all time.

He's an egomaniac for sure, no argument there. You'd pretty much have to be, to send vid pix of your johnson, wouldn't you?

I do think he's destined for the Hall of Fame, though. His record stands for itself.

I bet he's glad Childress is coaching in Eden Prairie, and not you, spooks :devil:

I think he will be in the Hall of Fame too, but I don't think he's near the top of the list of all time greats. He has numbers, but he didn't dominate the way that Montana, Elway, Marino, Unitas, etc did. He's become quite the narcissist, IMHO.

Breaking news tonight is that Minnesota is releasing Randy Moss.

Wow.

A mere month after trading a 3rd round draft pick to the Patriots to acquire him, Moss will be released on waivers tomorrow.

The Vikings obviously decided their season is a bust, and rather than paying Moss' ~$3mil salary, better to let someone else (Rams? Seahawks?) pick him up.

Wow. I'm still dazed.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program, as St. Peyton decapitates the Texan Infidels at the Church of Indianapolis.

I know it will never happen, but I would love to see him back here. Did you hear his interview after the game? Apparently, the Vikings coaching staff didn't listen to him on perhaps one of the few times they really should. :whistle:

randy could have a couple more good years in him. wonder where he'll wind up. of course here in san francisco the talk is that he should come back here. UM NO, no good for either team. already did nothing in oakland and san francisco doesn't have wideout problems really. (QB probs yes :help: ) any of the other nfc west teams could benefit from moss. not much money either.

He choked. I'm still glad he's my starting fantasy QB though.

Favre + Vikings won today, in OT. Did you seem him grinning? What a total egomaniac.

Packers face off against Dallas w/Kitna momentarily.
