Favre should pack it in and quit while he is behind.

I bet his wife has him sleeping in the dog house.

He and Marc can share stories about what it's like to be chained up in the yard.

----

EDIT: Wow, I just flipped on the TV for MNF. Apparently Favre has a fractured ankle.

Tony Romo just broke his collarbone. Kitna is playing for the Cowboys, he's as bad as ever.

Dallas is done for the year without Romo. Stick a fork in them. The Superbowl will be played in Dallas this year with no Cowboys on the field.

You know who's responsible? Jessica Simpson. :P

BTW,

The following people are now on the active roster: Don Meredith, Craig Morton, Roger Staubach, Danny White, Troy Aikman, Eddie LeBaron and they've even activated Clint Longley.

I agree, you should start cheering for the Bills. :P

Dallas was done for the season even with Romo. Regardless, I don't like to see anyone hurt. Well maybe a few players..................

What's Carmen Policy and Dwight Clark doing these days? Maybe they could come in and make the situation go from bleak to hopeless like they did in Cleveland.

i say bring back the criminals!!! give the team back to eddie d!

*sigh* the bright spot for me is that we can't lose next week. well unless there is a way to lose during a bye week.

Where do we start? The Cowboys crashed and burned, but this was to be expected. Buffalo lost again as did the Vikings. Oakland wins again as do the Patriots. At the moment, a tough battle between NO and Pittsburgh.

I only caught the last few of the Pats-Vikes and all I can say is that the umps appeared to have a right stinker.

Good to see the Pats get another win, though.

Saints blew it open late in the 4th quarter, currently 20-10 for the Saints with 1min to play. A gorgeous touchdown pass to Lance Moore, whom I happen to have as my 2WR on my fantasy team. I crushed it in Fantasy this week, and I haven't even played Peyton yet -- he's on tomorrow night.

Favre looked just terrible as he was helped off the field. I cannot believe they're still letting him play, and yet amazingly he's still getting the job done out there. The Packers won, the Bears are on bye, Vikings lost, so Packers have sole occupancy at top of NFC North.

What is Favre getting done, the Vikings are 2-5?

Well, let's see...

Season totals up to week 7, i.e. not including this week:

Favre has 1191 passing yards, 21st in NFL QBs, but ahead of Mark Sanchez, Kevin Kolb.

He has 7 TDs, tied for 8th place along with Jay Cutler, Josh Freeman and Vince Young.

In other words - he's far from stellar, but he is a journeyman QB who's in the pack with other brand name franchise QBs. He's not exactly shitting his pants, which is something to say for a guy about ready to collect Social Security.
