hi all indian vjs. im from andhrapradesh hyderabad. so recently i got my interview letter . my husband applied for my immigrant visa to be completed at chennai counslate. now recently a few ppl ve been telling my mum tht my interview wil happen in hyderabad counslate not chennai. but my interview in scheduled at chennai for 15th oct. so anyone here recently had there interview done at chennai but wern living in chennai???? ........ totaly confused yet again. awaiting replies hopefuly!

Ha everyone loves giving advice in India and most of the time its wrong. That always baffled me.

If the interview letter says Chennai, then its at Chennai.

Looks like CR1 visas are at Chennai but non-CR1 are done in hyderabad.

Call the consulate, check with consulate.

I knew a couple whose original location was in South Africa and for some reason it was move to Mumbai and they had not requested the change of location.

So check with consulate and they can let you know.

There is no immigrant visa interview in Hyderabad. For those, it is done in Chennai.
