AOS approval...continued in Charlotte..maybe ???

my wife had her interview june 29th...interviewer says all okay......fast forward to august 11th......my two children have their interview together...same interviewer.....interviewer says that all is okay, and because our two year wedding aniversary will arrive aug 21st, that my wife and children will receive their 10 yr green card post wedding anniversary on 21 august.....she said that there was a little work left on my wife and son, but all was okay...i asked what that work was, and she said she was not allowed to say.....what should i make of this....is this normal dialogue ?? i look forward to the forums opinions.........

Perhaps the FBI name checks haven't cleared yet, though I don't know why they would be so mysterious about that. Unfortunately we have many people in this forum who were approved at their interviews but are waiting for the FBI name checks to be completed.

yes did they tell you about approval pending FBI name check ?

I actually think the interviewer is intentionally delaying your approval so you can get a 10 year green card!

i sked specifically about FBI name check, and she said she could not answer anytthing........she did say that all was okay with my daughter, but she would wait until after my 2 yr wedding anniversary to issue hers ...so that she would not need to be handcuffed by the 2 yr GC. it is strange that everything appears so much like cloak and dagger....

when did u get married, cause i had my interview in Charlotte NC on Feb3 2006 and we would have been completed 2 yrs on Feb 9 2006, but the interviewer gave a 2 yr green card and not a 10 yr and he said sorry he couldnt do anything.
