Beneficiary birth certificate question

Just wondering if this will be an issue and raise a red flag.

My GF's NSO birth cert has a different spelling for her and her father's last name. He uses his last name spelling on his official documents and she uses her last name spelling on her official documents including her passport.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this.

names appearing from birthcert to passport should be of the same, coz if not,it will give confusion at the end like issuing of visa..remember there are a lot of forms to be filled on along the process...it has to be fix on..

Her name appears the same on both her birth cert and her passport.

His (her father) last name is different than her last name on her birth cert.

My question was and still is, does it matter that her last name is spelled different than her father's last name?

good day..Just follow what her NSO certificate stated..her parent's name will not appear on her passport(only her name)..hmm..was it gravely misspelled or just a letter misspelled?...if she uses the correct spelling in all her documents then there's nothing to worry...i don't know, but if you are hurrying up for her to be there and to file soon, then just follow the NSO(it's her security papers), they might consider that one...coz if you really want to have it corrected, it might take time to process and money too!!...anyways, it's not her parents who would be applying for the visa, it's her...so if there's no problem with her name(If the typo error was with her Father's last name on the NSO, not hers), I guess that would just be fine..either so, is she was able to get a passport already, then it means they considered that one....if you are still uncertain, just call NSO to inquire....hope we were able to help..God bless!!
