No, we used a heavy clip. That's what they suggest. "Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips." And we used an easy to disassemble folder. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD

The A number is for permanent residents as far as I know, but I'm not sure. We didn't write the A number because, as a USC he doesn't have one. :unsure:

We did prepare all the papers carefully and we have written names and signed and dated and all. We used the forms from the "Example forms" section here, on VJ.

We didn't punch holes because some of our papers would have ended up with holes right through important information. While USCIS likes it when we're using acco fasteners and heavy clips and folders that can be easily disassembled, they don't put that as a rule. Know that they disassemble everything and put it their own way, in their own folders... So don't waste too much time on assembling the petition. Just a little time and it's good to go. This is our opinion.

Hello! I'd like to know your opinion about the proof we gathered for our petition. My fiance wants to send it via USPS on Tuesday. Do you think we'll be ok with... this:

- proof of citizenship: copy of the naturalization certificate; copy of ALL pages of the US passport

- cover letter

- I-129F & I-129F attachment, describing how we met within the past two years, both signed and dated

- G-325A + passport style photo(petitioner & beneficiary), both signed, dated

- intent to marry letters(petitioner, beneficiary), signed, dated

- proof of having met in person: boarding passes, passport stamps, itineraries, photos(26), train tickets, receipts from Romania, engagement ring receipt;

- proof of ongoing relationship: emails(about 10), phone bills, skype video calls printscreens;

I hope we didn't miss a thing.

I would really appreciate your time to read this and I'd love if you could help me see something I'm missing,... if I'm missing something. :P

Good luck to you all! Good luck to us. :thumbs:

You forgot the check for the fee.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)
