I know what your saying about the 2 being merged, but the two were merged because they were the same , IR-1/CR-1 threads. 2 of the same were started at the same time. It has nothing to do with AOS filers and their threads. The whole IR-1/CR-1 process consists of USCIS, NVC, and finally to the consulate/embassy we do our interview at. Right now all of us IR-1/CR-1 filers are in the 1st phase , USCIS process. This will always be the same thread, only some of us will be at different phases. In reality none of us will have to do AOS. If you enter the US on a IR-1/CR-1 , thats it your done except the CR-1 needs to apply to remove the conditional part after 2 years. There is no adjustment in your future. ;))

Oh yes there is an adjustment in her future!!!!! Adjusting to real life, in the flesh HUGS in less than a month!!!!!kicking.gif

LOL your right on that. I just meant with immigration stuff. I always wanted to go to Mongolia, I hope I get the chance 1 day. There is a lot to see there right, a lot of history?

I read on some of the other boards that some people are getting activity and notices from uscis while nothing is posted on their uscis online accounts. They are not updating their online status reports?

Hey Babalu!

That it's correct, the website it's not reliable for a lot of people... sometimes they'll do it, sometimes they wont... specially with notifications (most of the time they won't tell you one its coming)

They will also notify you of something sent after you actually received it (I got a few of those over a week after I was done with my case stating the "old date")

My best recommendation it's for EVERYBODY to :time: that way you'll have a better understanding of what you should expect. My timeline was pretty much on the money!

Good luck and be patient!!

Hey BabaLu, Yeah, Mongolia is cool, probably my favorite place in the world. Not overly developed and the vast majority of the people there live close to their history and traditions.

unfortunately my nvc journey wont be as fast as my wife worked in Hong Kong for a couple years so now it will be a little bit of a snag while waiting on the police clearance :(
