I checked my account with USCIS this morning and still no touch. As of this moment, there has still been no change no touch, no text message or e-mail notification...................

But here in the iron tight grasp of my own hands is the I-797 that says"APPROVAL NOTICE"

I already called my wife and woke her from her slumber! I have never heard her so happy to be woken up!

Is this the board for people who filed for a greencard (IR-1/CR-1) for their spouse in the month of September 2010 ? Just wondering because I look at the top and see it says that it is, but like everyone is posting here with other visa types pending or other immigration issues pending and to be honest it really is confusing. I see a post saying I been approved yada yada yada and I start thinking yah !!! finally things are starting to move then I take a closer look and notice its a case that has nothing to do with this board's subject line.

Thanks for your advice, really appreciated and has helped calm me a little, wasn't sure whether to hold my petition back until we were together, but you are right, better to get it completed,

Any word yet on what the RFE is about ?

lol

its kinda funny that i started this thread and someone chose to merge it with something else and i ended up getting really confused also...:bonk:

it was initially started as september I-130 filers...(as that is what we (my hubby and me) were when i started it...)

god only knows what it is about now...

but...the main thing is...it is for whoever filed whatever...whenever...*information is a good thing, in other words.

as far as i am concerned...it is still the september filers thread...lmao

no doubt it will turn into a NVC thread at some point...lol

I know what your saying about the 2 being merged, but the two were merged because they were the same , IR-1/CR-1 threads. 2 of the same were started at the same time. It has nothing to do with AOS filers and their threads. The whole IR-1/CR-1 process consists of USCIS, NVC, and finally to the consulate/embassy we do our interview at. Right now all of us IR-1/CR-1 filers are in the 1st phase , USCIS process. This will always be the same thread, only some of us will be at different phases. In reality none of us will have to do AOS. If you enter the US on a IR-1/CR-1 , thats it your done except the CR-1 needs to apply to remove the conditional part after 2 years. There is no adjustment in your future. ;))
