Oh wow that is a lot! I only shared my experience from checking the cost of an additional suitcase as the others have been debating about potential cargo and shipping costs (which are more pricey than a comparable large suitcase). One extra bag (in addition to the complimentary checked bag, carry-on bag and purse or laptop bag) "only" cost 75 with British Airways or American Airlines. And that would also include if you have a connecting flight before or after (it's the total price). I consider that pretty cheap and since all my flights are usually with those airlines I guess I can call myself lucky. The second additional bag is already like 140. So you would pay 75+140 and then whatever a third additional bag would cost. I didn't even look into that as I am planning on only taking one additional bag. I'll just fit my life in these two suitcases and if worse comes to worse, my friends are coming to visit and can bring the rest. Your fiancé doesn't happen to be military and flying with you?! They can check in 5 additional bags for free as far as I know. ?

Thanks for your response. I called the airline and they said 75euros and 150 euros for each other one.just like you said. I wasn't expecting it to be signed expensive. I have to repack my stuff. My fiance is not military. I wish just right now he is. LOL.

Which airline will you be flying with?! Seems to be the general fees for most airlines then.
