Man kann auf beiden Straßenseiten vor dem Konsulat parken. ich war um kurz nach 7 dort, da gab es noch genug Parkplätze.

Ne, das ist dort besser.

Ich glaub das Ticket ging bis 12 Uhr, ich war aber nicht selbst am Automaten, deshalb weiß ich nicht genau ob's da Tagestickets oder so gibt. Kann bestimmt jemand anderes sagen.

ich glaube nur der Teil beim Friedhof ist kostenpflichtig.

Beide Male habe ich keine Parkmarke gezogen und es war auch kein Schild.

Danke! Zara dein POE war Seattle auch! Lebst du auch dort? Wie wars in POE?

POE in Seattle war sehr freundlich und easy. Ich war mit meinem (damals zukünftigen rose.gif ) Mann zusammen dort. Sie haben sich alle Papiere angeguckt, Fingerprints und Photo gemacht und gesagt, alles ist ok, nach der Hochzeit AOS nicht vergessen zu filen und welcome to Seattle und habt eine schöne Hochzeit! Sehr nett und unkompliziert. Ja, ich lebe in Seattle. Wunderschön hier goofy.gif Alles Gute für's Interview!

hey, habt ihr alle ganz genau die Passfoto-Voraussetzungen erfüllt wie sie auf der DOS website beschrieben werden?

Ich habe welche, die aber nicht genau den Anforderungen entsprechen: sie sind nicht 2x2inches, also quadratisch, sondern die Längsseite ist länger. Außerdem ist bei mir nur der Kopf drauf und nicht noch ein Stück vom Oberkörper. (also quasi "normale" deutsche Passfotos). Hatte jemand auch solche und wurden die akzeptiert?

edit: ich sehe gerade, auf der Konsulatsseite wird das auch beschrieben und dass die Fotos abgelehnt werden, wenn sie nicht genau diesen Anforderungen entsprechen.

nein ein member hier A&P_Germany hat mir gesagt das das Konsulat die fotos abgelehnt hat. Meine waren 5x5 in weiss Hintergrund. Die sind sehr teuer auch!


Leute die Interview gemacht haben: Wird auf der Stelle gesagt ob ich mein Visum bekomme oder? Weil ich will am 28 meine Arbeit Kündigen. Also für ende des Monats Ich will so schnell wie möglich weg! Und sind die Leute freundlich also der Interviewer?

Ich habe auch die 5x5 cm-Fotos genommen, also das amerikanische Format. Als ich mit meinem fetten Ausdruck von der Konsulatsseite bei der Fotografin ankam, hat die nur einmal kurz draufgeschaut und dann gesagt: "Ach, da weiß ich Bescheid". War überhaupt kein Problem. Es war bei mir auch nicht superteuer; ich glaube, es waren so um die 12 Euro für 4 Fotos. Pass' auf, dass deine Ohren vollständig zu sehen sind - ich habe von anderen Leuten gehört, dass das Konsulat sonst die Fotos ablehnt.

Ich hab meine selbstgemacht. Ist nicht schwer!

Heller Hintergrund, gut ausgeleuchtet, abgedrückt, etwas nachbearbeitet, dann mit http://www.passportcorner.com/ bearbeitet, gespeichert, belichten lassen.

Kostet praktisch nichts ausser etwas Zeit und Mühe :)
