Hab bei ABC Travel gebucht. Der Flug über Detroit kostet mich 487,50€

das ist ja ein Hammerpreis! Hast du einen military discount gekriegt oder warum ist der so günstig? Round-trip oder nur Hinflug?

Ich habe die Tage auch schon mal geguckt, obwohl es bei mir noch nicht soweit ist, aber überall (ABC auch) sind die Preise jetzt im Sommer in unglaubliche Höhen geschossen!

Im Oktober bin ich noch für 700 nach L.A. geflogen und jetzt bewegt sich das alles so im 1200+ Rahmen!!! Und nur Hinflug ist meistens irgendwie sogar noch teurer. Das soll mal einer verstehen...

Ich hab auch bei ABC gebucht für 600 one way. normaler Tarif, kein military discount.

Das war mit Abstand der günstigste Preis :) Musst einfach mal ein bisschen mit dem Datum variieren, wenn das möglich ist. Ich wollte zuerst am 30.juni (sonntag) fliegen, da gab es auch bei ABC nix unter 1200. Jetzt flieg ich mittwochs zum halben Preis ;-)

Als ich auf die ABC Homepage weitergeleitet wurde war ersichtlich, dass es KEIN Military Tarif ist.

mir ist auch aufgefallen das die billigen Preise immer erst so ab 20:00 erschienen sind!

Was ich auch nicht wußte, mit One-Way Ticket kann man am Vortag NICHT online einchecken.

Du musst erst vorweisen können das du dann auch drüben bleiben kannst!

achso! Ich hab natürlich auch nach Wochenendflügen geschaut, weil er mich dann leichter abholen kann, aber wenn das so einen Riesenunterschied im Preis macht, dann muss er es vielleicht mal unter der Woche hinkriegen smile.png ich check das mal...

ach, echt!? naja, würde ich halt in Kauf nehmen, wenn one-way billiger ist.

ist das nicht bescheuert, dass man dieses riesige Röntgenbild mit ins Handgepäck nehmen muss?! Ich glaube nicht, dass ein POE-Beamter das medizinische Wissen hat, um darauf irgendwelche Krankheiten erkennen zu können...oder sitzen da auch Ärzte rum?! Meine Ärztin beim medical meinte auch, das sei lächerlich, wie paranoid die Amis in Bezug auf Tuberkulose sind.

Freu mich jedenfalls für euch Mädels, dass es bei euch bald losgeht! Kann mir vorstellen, dass ihr euch total freut und positiv aufgeregt seid dancin5hr.gif

Ich habe das Packet 3 am freitag zurück geschickt. Ich denke heute wird es da sein, ich habe es mit DHL geschickt. Wie lange dauert es bis ich eine Termin bekomme? Ich habe as einreise Datum 17 Juli geschrieben weil es ist für uns eine besondere datum :( Oh mann es wird langsam warm hier aber in Seattle wird es so kalt sein :( Ich werde frieren in meinem Hochzeitskleid!

Dauert schon ein paar Tage bis was kommt...ist ja noch Zeit bis zum 17. Juli (übrigens der Tag an dem wir heiraten ;) )

kann jemand hier was dazu sagen bitte?

Unsere Petition war am 14.05 geschickt und um 15.03 bei der Consulate schon unterschrieben. wir haben immer noch kein antworten bekommen. letzte woche ich habe ein e-mail nach der consulate geschickt und das ist der antworten:

Oh man. Ich habe schon ein e-mail geschickt um zu fragen wie schauts aus mit unsere Petition. Ich dachte das der Petition ist normalerweise in 3-4 wochen approved oder denied.

Und ich habe ein antworten bekommen:

Hello,

Processing time is currently about 90 days.

Ich dachte das GANZE prozess dauert 90 tage, nicht nur das Petition?! Bin ich falsch?!

also wirklich. ich verstehe das es dauert ein bischen. 3-4 wochen habe ich gerechnet. aber mehr?! :(

I resided in Germany from July 2008-October 2013.

I have two stepsons who are staying in Germany.

Our son was born 3/3/2012 and our daughter was born 4/4/2015.

DCF STARTED!MAY 14, 2013: I-130 Petition sent to Frankfurt as registered mail w/ return receipt!

MAY 15, 2013: Mail signed for in Frankfurt. NOA1

MAY 21, 2013: Return receipt came back in the mail.

MAY 25, 2013: $420 Petition fee was charged to our credit card.

MAY 25, 2013: NOA1 paperwork received in the mail.

JULY 12, 2013: NOA2 received.

JULY 13, 2013: NOA2 sent back.

AUG 15, 2013: Packet 3 sent in.

AUG 30, 2013: Husband's medical in Berlin.

SEPT 12, 2013: Received letter with husband's interview date!

SEPT 19, 2013: INTERVIEW. APPROVED!!

SEPT 21, 2013: Visa received.

OCT 5, 2013: POE in Newark, NJ (layover).

DEC 17, 2013: SSN Card finally arrived!

DEC 19, 2013: Husband (beneficiary) got his first job in the USA! And he loves it!

DEC 28, 2013: Green card arrived!

FUTURE: Visas for my stepsons!

heute endlich hat NVC unsere Akte losgeschickt....was für ein "Zufall"!

Weil wir heute am Telefon endlich mal durchkamen und nachgefragt haben, warum das so lange dauert. "Wir haben gute Neuigkeiten, HEUTE haben wir die Unterlagen nach Frankfurt verschickt" haben sie gesagt...gedacht haben sie wohl "oops, stimmt, das liegt ja schon etwas länger sinnlos hier rum". no0pb.gif

Naja, immerhin nicht verloren gegangen und es geht jetzt weiter!
