Are they allowed inside the embassy? Also, will they allow you to take baby food/diaper bag inside with you?

Thanks

Hey aui2010,

I have no idea about the US Embassy in Islamabad... but i can tell you about my experience in the USE here in Belgium...

I think all the USE will have a general security policy...

So we had to go to the Embassy to report the birth of our daughter last year and we were not able to take any food/diaper bag beyond security. When my daughter needed to be fed we had to go back to the secure area to feed her there...

(cold milk...), but we were allowed to grab a diaper and change her in the bathroom of the Embassy.

We had no problem taking our stroller in...

Hope this helps...

Good luck on the upcoming interview!:)

Thanks Marijke :) I called the embassy to check about this..and the person i spoke to had no idea :bonk: he apparently checked with someone else near him...who did a general ummmm and said no they are not allowed...anyways..i plan to email the embassy asking about this.. its impossible to carry a child and all the paperwork at the same time..
