Hi

I have overstayed in U.S after my tourist visa expired.

I now want to go back to my home country but have lost my I-94w form from my passport. :o

My questions:

What would happen at the airport? Will an officer ask me to turn in the I-94 on departure?

If so, what would happen if I say it`s lost?

I really would appreciate an answer on this.

PS! I know I will have to apply for a new visa later if I want to visit US again as a tourist.

Have you thought about replacing the I-94?

It's expensive but do-able

They only check you on the way in, not the way out.

The Airlines take the I 94W

They stopped using them recently btw. Now you just get a stamp.

It takes about 6 weeks to get the I 94 replacement...
