nearly five weeks and no biometrics

Hello all. OK, so I still haven't received a biometrics appointment for my

N-400. My priority date is July the 30th. I called the information line about

it a week and a half ago and they were no help. The first person I spoke to

(customer service) told me that it was still in initial review. I told her

about the second number on my NOA (the bottom one with the $ sign) and how when

I put that number in on my online status it says a rfe was sent to me on August

16th. She verified that she got that too when putting in the second number but

then transferred me to a immigration officer. The I.O told me that nothing has

been scheduled for me. I told the I.O about the second number and was told

that he didn't know what number I was talking about and that the only number I

should worry about is the receipt number. So what are your thoughts? should I:

A- just give it a couple more weeks and then worry about it.

B- call the information line again and ask about a service request.

C- assume that maybe I wont have biometrics as I had my fingerprints done less

than a year ago for removal of conditions.

E- my least favorite option, Infopass. Least favorite as my the closest office

is a 3 hour drive away, both ways.

My D.O is Philly, if that makes a difference.

I know that the N-400 process (or any immigration process) can be a lengthy

affair and that each case is different but damn it, I'm impatient!!!!

Thanks guys, have a great Labor day weekend

Timeline

Sorry about your situation. :( I called the info line after nearly a month and also got transferred to IO and was told nothing could be done. However, within a week we received the bio notice, with the 'sent' date the same day we called! If I were you, I would try to call again and make sure you talk to an IO and insist on a service request. There is still one person who hasn't got their bio notice from July filers, so you are not alone. Most of us had the last bio less than a year ago so that isn't the reason you've been left out.

Please give your full Timeline so we can add you to the July Filers!
