some of us are not convinced. you should be expecting an interesting AOS interview, i suppose.

It's all of your good wishes that would help me and my wife lead a smooth married life :) . If convincing is what it takes, our love should reflect our genuine intentions. Rest, as they say, is in almighty's control. I also hope your words come not from a bitter personal experience but a prior, relevant case that bears striking resemblance to mine!

But, thank you for your concern. I appreciate!

He has not said anything that suggests that he should have other than a normal interview for adjustment.

JimVaPhuong dealt with the other issues better than I could have phrased it.

Thank you Boiler! You have helped us throughout the process, right from filing up to right now. Thanks again. There was a slight confusion, as implied in my reply to JimVaPhuong's explanation of the issue. Could you shed some light on it, please? Am I still over-staying unless my AOS is rejected?

Thanks man!

Not significantly different from my K1.

I presume you were admitted for 6 months, I was admitted for 90 days.

When we applied for adjustment this changed our status as we were no longer dependent on the original entry.

I mentioned I travelled on AP. AP should not be used by those who were out of status for more than 180 days, but that does not apply to either of us.

You stay in this limbo status until you either adjust to GC or not.

I was, indeed, admitted for a 6-month period, and I applied for AOS well and truly before the period expired. I would like to believe your theory, not just because it suits my situation but also because it seems to make the most sense and logic! :)

I shall update you over what happens tomorrow at the Los Angeles USCIS field office. Thank you Boiler!
