Icy,

"But a woman's chief concern is establishing a 'pair bond' to create a secure future for herself and her offspring. Scientists have found that after four years in a relationship, fewer than half of women say they want to make love regularly.

In contrast, men's sexual desire remains just as strong regardless of how long they have been with their partner."

Agree that a man's sexual desire remains strong - but is it still his wife that he desires? If a woman's chief concern is creating a secure future for herself and her offspring then she'll want to ensure that it is?

The individual facts may be correct, but the linkages leave something to be desired.

What's you're answer to their research?

I think it can happen.... it depends on if you'll just let it go and consider it normal or do something about it IMO.

I always try to make things better even being apart.... and let me tell you after living together for 2 years I realized I had a lot more fun in sex after all that time than I did before, when we didn't know as much. Sure it's all new at first.... but man.... knowing that we've been together for 3 years and being able to go crazy and let it all out is a turn on to me.

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

--- Wish us luck!!! ---

You sound desperately frustrated.

I have it on good authority a girl could do worse than having one of these around in times of desperation.

;)

Does that thing have a tiller attachment??? Looks like I could use it to start a car. Or maybe it's an electronic thumb for hitching rides on passing spacecraft....

What about the women that don't want kids and so don't searc for the future father of their kids ?

I don't believe the sexual attraction and desire dies unless something happened like betrayal, lack of communication, issues that were not solved by the couple etc etc

It just doesn't die instantly, like it has some kind of expiration date...

Seriously, what's the purpose of that weird attachment that looks like a thumb with a pair of pincers?
