USCIS stated (phone call) that they are no longer going by any kind of dates, if your case is in the mess regardless of NOA1-RFE-Proccessing (dates) they will not look into your case untill you reach a 6 month mark from your NOA1 and then and only then will they do an inquiry of your case.

Anyone else heard this?

what does that mean? They won't respond to inquiries until after 6 months have passed?

That sounds like an FU by people who are tired of getting requests. :angry:

But it still makes you wonder, I called back and tried it again and got the same responce from another misinformation woker :blink:

Hey USCIS.. the best way to make us shut up and go away is to send our files to NVC!!!

If they processsed thing efficiently and fairly....there wouldnt be so many inquiries....dah!!!

I wonder if that includes inquiries from senators offices or congresspersons offices??? Not that they have given us to much to go on.

6/23/06 - They they sent the IMBRA RFE

7/03/06 - The emailed that the IMBRA RFE went out on 6/23/06

7/03/06 - I received IMBRA RFE

7/05/06 - Touched

7/06/06 - Delivery Confirmation from the Post Office RFE recieved

7/11/06 - Email notification from CSC that IMBRA RFE Recieved

7/12/06 - Touched (but was to respond to an email that only said 'request recieved and will be processed within 30 days. argh)

01/08/06 - CFO interview/(pre-departure class) Complete

1/11/07 & 1/12/07 Medical complete

2/7/07 (2/8/07 manila) - Informed we are approved...3 days after interview.

2/12/07 Visa Received

2/16/07 Baby arrives in US!!!!!

Yep, I typically get different answers from different reps for the same questions when I call but this is the same answer that I got to the other day: Do not call to inquire about your petition until 180 days after your receipt date. As long as it is within the 180 days it is within normal processing times. I wanted to puke when I thought - wow, I have to wait 6 months before I can even inquire as to the status of my petition? This is nuts!!!!!!!!!

2/15/06 ~ Got engaged

4/28/06 ~ Visited the love of my life! (The best 2+ weeks of my entire life!)

5/13/06 ~ Had to leave to the US without my love - (no way to describe the pain I felt)

6/5/06 ~ I-129F Sent

6/20/06 ~ NOA1

8/14/06 ~ Touched (response to email I sent stating 'request recieved and will be processed within 30 days)

8/16/06 ~ Touched (email stating letter responding to email was sent) - (after 30 days - still no letter - called USCIS to inform them - they will do inquiry)

9/21/06 ~ Touched (email stating that RFE was mailed to me on 9/20/06 - YES!)

9/25/06 ~ RFE received!!!!!!!!!!

9/26/06 ~ Mailed RFE back to CSC

10/2/06 ~ CSC received RFE

this is complete BS.. what about the apparent notice I read in another thread that after Imbra RFE the case is entitiled to a decision in 60 days????

Aug 22 - NOA2

Sept 25 - interview date OCTOBER 13th

Apr 16 - surprise RFE arrives..they lost my medical. New medical returned, Apr 23

Jun 1st - RFE ..more medical BS ( go back for TB skin test)

Jun 28 - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!

July 06- Green card arrives.
