No I dont mind you asking first everything went very fast till the interview (7/08) then the Embassy told him he was approved he left his passport paid the money and when the passport never came we found out it was under Administrative Review then a few weeks later it was upgraded to AP then 10 months of AP and it was cleared according to DOS (5/09) the case was sent back to USCIS I was given no reason and didnt find out until March 2010 they said our wedding pictures seemed posed and they wanted more evidence. So the case was reaffirmed in April 2010 and now we have the visa .....what a journey I just never understood why we were put on AP for 10 if they thought the marriage was a fraud.

Wow - good things are worth waiting for, but I am sure you would have preferred a much shorter wait! Congratulations to you both - and every happiness.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

WoW ! Well at-least it's over, and soon the both of you will be together !

Ya know I call DOS almost once a week, and always get the same answer "AP still pending". But ... When I called last week the lady told me it had been sent to USCIS, and transferred my call to them. When I spoke to the lady at USCIS, she no , that they don't have our file and that it had been sent to the embassy December of "09". And that was all she could tell me. So ... Later in the afternoon I called DOS again, and again I was told still pending AP. Do you think it was just a mistake and that she mis read, or should I be concerned ? As I know we all are human, but to me this is a serious mistake. Anyhow ... I can just imagine how excited you must be ! When will your hubby be coming?

Have a great day , which I'm sure you will ! :)

If your case was sent to USCIS it takes about 6 - 8 weeks for USCIS to process into their database

it goes from the Embassy to NVC and then to USCIS. I really hope DOS made a mistake and your case is still at the Embassy. When you call back to DOS tell them you need to make sure where your case is. I also learned from DOS before I heard it from the Embassy that our case was sent to USCIS. Also some people dont want to tell you that so they just say its still pending. If it is being sent to USCIS it is in a diplomatic pouch and is assigned a number DOS can see all of this. If the number is not assigned it is still at the Embassy If possible you need to call the Embassy ASAP you might can clear something up over the phone. Good Luck
