We finished up with NVC on August 25th, and we're trying (probably in vain) to 'guess' when my wife's interview date might be.

Right now I'm optimistically guessing she'll get her Packet 4 in November with an interview date of early/mid December.

Is that a reasonable guesstimate? Or am I way too optimistic (or pessimistic)?

My packet 3 was logged on June 30th, and I still don't have a date. Montreal is veeeeery slow.

My k1 application was approved in may.

I received my p3 in july.

and they received it on august 13th (but it has not been logged on the site yet, had to call to find out)

Does that make me part of the may group?

or the august group?

everyone is talking about how the april bunch got their interview dates

and i was wondering what bunch that puts me in...

thanks!

Actually, the USCIS web site does not track the process once you have passed the I-129. To check the status of your P3, you need to phone the DOS at 1-202-663-1225. You will need your case number that was contained in the P3...

Sometimes Montreal takes a month or more to actually log your P3. So unfortunately you could actually be in the September group. Best to call DOS and find out!

C'est vrai. According to Canada Post, our P3 was received 17 May. According to DoS, it was logged in on 2 July. >_<
