Hi All,

Just thought I'd post a brief POE review! Got to the Ottawa airport at 4:30AM (our flight was leaving around 7AM). Checked in (had 2 bags each) and proceeded through security. Got to the customs line around 5:00 AM was waiting to see which of the 5 or 6 officers that would be so happy to process us. (Last time I did a visa at a border (TN) the officer was like "Oh, no you don't want to do that to me today!?" in a mockery tone.

In any case we got this POE officer who spoke so softly that we had to ask him to repeat himself, or he would just gesture with a beckoning hand for my fiance's passport etc. with no words. So wasn't quite sure how to read him at first. Also he was chewing bubble gum...and blowing bubbles, I am not kidding you. :hehe: He looked quite young. In any case once he opened our packet and saw everything was in order he seemed to relax a bit. Did a bit of paperwork stuff at the booth then took us both back into secondary, mentioned in passing "we know about the 90 days?" Replied "yes". He did some more paperwork then we all went into a small office with a desk and computer. This is how it went. He typed some stuff on the computer while we just waited quietly. Then he turned to me and asked "You know what you need to know?" I replied "Uh yeah I think I know what I need to know". He's like "Alright good". Asked us what time our flight left (It was 5:30AM by this point) and said we were good to go. Stamped by I-94 stapled stuff in and sent us on our marry way! Overall quite stress free and easy. Just stood and sat around waiting for him to do his stuff and just replied to his very brief and very few questions! :star:

Now I'm settling into my new life and lovin' it!! :luv:

Congratulations! I have never had a negative experience at the airport here in Ottawa. They all seem very friendly and helpful. :)
