We were sent an RFE letter on August 6th. [RFE issue: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/270594-questions-regarding-rfe-reply/page__p__4142532#entry4142532 and http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/272077-urgent-question-regarding-aos-rfe/page__p__4164021#entry4164021 ].

We are finally ready to send the RFE reply.

- What is the proper way to prepare an RFE reply? Do we have to write a letter or sign it?

- Does my husband have to resubmit his I-864 and tax returns of the last 3 years, as he's the primary sponsor?

- We are considering having a 3rd sponsor just in case. Is that possible for AOS?

ROC Timeline

8/1/12: ROC window opens
9/4/12: ROC packet sent
9/8/12: ROC packet delivered to VSC
9/12/12: Check cashed
9/14/12: NOA letter received (NOA dated 9/10/12)
9/20/12: Biometrics letter received (Bio appointment 10/15/12)
10/12/12: Early biometrics walk-in

4/27/13: RFE received

6/17/13: RFE response sent

7/1/13: ROC petition approved

7/5/13: GC received in the mail.

Send in what the RFE asks for. Follow the RFE instructions. You can compose a cover letter to list the contents of your package if you like.

What will the 3rd sponsor be for? If the grandparent is not willing to sponsor just move to the potential number 3. Unless person number 3 lives in the household with your grandparents they will have to qualify on their own income.
