Yes, but in I-130 there are no answer step-child... Just: 1. Husband/Wife 2. Brother/Sister 3. Parent 4. Child

So where to put??

Child. Under US law, if the marriage occured before age 18 then his "step child" is considered his "child" for immigration purposes.

You need also to get at some point custody of the child in writing. Such as permission to leave the country from the ex.

Also transcripts of the childs school grades.(for schools here) Photographs of you and the child at different stages of growing up is also looked at.At least in our case. We took photos and copied them . Wrote details about the photos. with a description of everyone in the photos. Dates they were taken.

OMG!!!

I need to prove it is my daughter?!?!?! Her birth certificate, Married certificate with her father, his agreement to let her move - IS NOT ENOUGH????

Loto, can I ask... You hade lawyer for prepare documents or where you were looking for information?

Thank you very much for help again!!!

I don't have any lawyer. I refer here and USCIS/NVC/Consulate sites for all the information. It has been 11 years to go through this USCIS process such as H1B visa, Employment based Green Card, Naturalization, sponsoring spouse first time, now for the same spouse second time :star: I love to donate fee to USCIS :lol:

Note that I-130 filing to approval takes 4 to 6 months. You have to start worrying after 6 months mark.
