Hey everyone I am new to this website an as for it I am sort of lost!! I want to tell tell a little bit about my case and see if there are many other families in the same position as me!

I filed all the paper work for the I 130 and already had an interview schedule where I have to bring my phisical exam only..what do i expect once I get there?? the lawyer is saying im might need to file for two weivers..?? I have been in argentina away from my husband since May 20th and we have a little girl..I just can't wait until this is all over and we can back with him! If anyone has gone thru this , please help me on what to expect..

I should have add that we got married in California and I left the country as Voluntary since I was Ilegal while living there.

Did you arrive in the US illegally? If you arrived legally did you overstay?

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

needing a waiver and staying illegally in the USA is mostly out of scope for Visa Journey Portal, but

you should visit http://www.immigrate2us.net as that site has LOTS of coverage about 'what to do'.
