I think it has more to do with the Schedule openings in the District Office for Biometerics than timeline. I still havent received mine :(

My district office is Santa Ana, CA.

9/07/2010 - CSC mailed I-797C (1 year extension)

09/10/2010 - Received I-797C in the mail

10/07/2010 - Called Customer Service to open a service request for ASC appointment

10/25/2010 - Received Service request response - will send notice when appointment available

10/25/2010 - CSC mailed ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

10/27/2010 - Received ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

11/02/2010 - Early Biometrics (Walk-in)

11/19/2010 - Orig. Appointment for Biometrics

01/07/2011 - Card Production Ordered email received

weeeelll.. i just want to be optimistic.. :) LA district office probably is one of the busiest, so I will expect my husband's biometrics to be next year. hehehe.. HOPE NOT! we are going out of the country next month and will be back before his GC expires on Nov 30. No worries about the GC but I'm worried about the appointment if we do get one. Hope he gets it before we leave
