I didn't receive an email (as I expected) but we did just get the I-797C in the mail today with the first sentences stating:

Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved.

Yay! The decision date was 12/13/2010 so add us to the long list of filers please to give hope to those still waiting!

Yay! Yay! Yay!

Time Line

2007-11-10.....Marriage in Ecuador

2008-01-11.....I-130 Sent

2008-04-28.....I-130 Approved

2008-05-02.....NVC Received

2008-08-20.....Case Complete at NVC

2008-10-14.....Interview--221g, asked to present joint sponsor inspite of NVC approval

2008-11-07.....Visa due to arrive. DHL truck delivering visa was robbed, Consulate required us to present I-864s and DS-230 again, had to get a new passport and other related documents

2008-11-14.....Presented all new documents in person at Consulate, visa printed same day

2008-11-25.....POE Atlanta

2008-12-26.....Green Card and 2nd Welcome Letter arrive

2010-09-02.....Date of NOA ROC 1-751

2010-12-13.....Approval of ROC

2011-01-12.....10 year Permanent Resident card arrived

9/2/2010 - Rec'd and entered into system by CSC

9/07/2010 - CSC mailed I-797C (1 year extension)

09/10/2010 - Received I-797C in the mail

10/07/2010 - Called Customer Service to open a service request for ASC appointment

10/25/2010 - Received Service request response - will send notice when appointment available

10/25/2010 - CSC mailed ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

10/27/2010 - Received ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

11/02/2010 - Early Biometrics (Walk-in)

11/19/2010 - Orig. Appointment for Biometrics

01/07/2011 - Card Production Ordered email received

01/11/2011 - Post Decision Activity email received (Approval Notice Mailed)

Congratulations KristyVQT!!! And now I'm getting real pissed because I live in Portland, OR too and filed my I 751 since Aug 12th, biometrics done on Oct 7th. But they approved yours before mine. Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy for you. Just getting a little frustrated here.

Lullaby78, I am not sure what your AOS process was like but for us we had an interview...so I don't know if that made any difference with regard to the removal of conditions maybe?

Lullaby78, I am not sure what your AOS process was like but for us we had an interview...so I don't know if that made any difference with regard to the removal of conditions maybe?

I had my AOS interview as well. So I don't think that's the case. Anyway, there're a few people from August who did Biometrics before me still waiting for approval. I'll have to pray hard now. Congratulations on your approval again :)
