You sent package on 9/13, right? When is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter?

It said September 14th. I called USCIS and the lady said I can call back after Oct 15th to see what's going on.

Adding Mashaco to CSC list :) It looks like DO_CSC is still waiting for bio letter too. Santa Ana must be really busy...

I am not sure if CSC is sending the biometric appointment or local immigration office is sending out the appointment notice.

It seems that Santa Ana office is very busy.

Hi Mashaco, I think the CSC is sending the letters but the date of the appointment are based on the availability of appointments at the local biometrics office, hence santa ana comes into the picture.

I didn't get the letter today either :bonk:

9/1/2010 - Sent I-751 to CSC

9/2/2010 - Rec'd and entered into system by CSC

9/07/2010 - CSC mailed I-797C (1 year extension)

09/10/2010 - Received I-797C in the mail

10/07/2010 - Called Customer Service to open a service request for ASC appointment

10/25/2010 - Received Service request response - will send notice when appointment available

10/25/2010 - CSC mailed ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

10/27/2010 - Received ASC fingerprinting Appointment letter

11/02/2010 - Early Biometrics (Walk-in)

11/19/2010 - Orig. Appointment for Biometrics

01/07/2011 - Card Production Ordered email received

01/11/2011 - Post Decision Activity email received (Approval Notice Mailed)

01/13/2011 - Card Received !!!!!!!!!

Hi DO_CSC, I did not get it either today. well, I guess we just have to wait for at least 30 days and see how it goes. Since your NOA date is earlier than mine, you can check with USCIS. I have to wait until Oct 15th. I am not sure that calling to USCIS will be helpful. It seems that some reps have no idea what they are talking about. Santa Ana office is very famous for a busy office. I live very close to the office and a lot of people around me said the same thing.

I called them today. They opened a Service Request to send me an appointment letter. But the rep also said some offices are busy so there may not be any appointments available. That's why the letter may not have been sent. She also said that they will respond to the Service Request within 30 days !! :bonk: I knew it would be useless to call.

I totally understand your pain. I know it is insane. When I applied for AOS, my biometric was fairly quick, but the decision process took for a long time. I think it took around 6 months while other applicants got approved pretty quickly.

Well, let's keep hoping that we all are gonna get notice soon. I am sick of waiting, but at least I got NOA1. Some people did not even get that.

I would say I am a September filer. All the time I have been on VisaJourney I have always considered the important measures have been how long between actually filing the form and getting each of the notifications from USCIS.
