Religion is irrelevant. Soldiers refuse to deploy from time to time, but many more go where assigned, including Muslims.

The soldier clearly said in his own words that religion was the ONLY reason for

him to have taken that decision.

For that excuse, he should be given a choice--of BCD or VW (voluntary withdrawal--aka "quitting").

How old are you? 12? Religion is irrelevant because people of many faiths have refused to serve citing religion. Quakers, Jehovah Witnesses, Buddhist objectors have refused to deploy since Vietnam in the 60's. And, no doubt, before that.

The only reason this objector was worth noting is because Muslim baiting threads are the norm on this board lately. I don't need a video to tell me that.

At least it's nice to have a name for what I'm accused of.

You are truly a piece of work. So what if members of other religions refused deployment.

It's not irrelevant to them nor is it irrelevant to our hero.

You just talk in circles and answer imaginary questions, having nothing to do with the

post you have answered twice.

I get it.

I get it.

PFC Abdo isn't the smartest guy around if he didn't think hard about his religious convictions and his duty in deploying to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Anyone who joins especially in wartime has to carry out legal orders that may conflict his or her own beliefs.
