Hello All,

It has been two months since i filed my wife's AOS packet and still no sign of the BIO appointment. What is up with the Dallas Service Center. I keep seeing people from other states that filed way after i did and already completed their biometrics. The parking lot at the dallas service center is always empty, so they can't be that F*ken busy. I'm so sick of these incompetent people working at this center. Is anybody here experiencing the same caca from this place........I wish we can do somthing about this center.....so pissed offffffffffffff.. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Yesterday around 12:30 I received a text and e-mail that my EAD had been approved and Card Production had been ordered.

Two hours later. I get the same text and e-mail for my Green Card. I was expecting the EAD about this time but the Green Card blew my mind.

Needless to say my wife is very excited. She is ready to start working and earn some money for Christmas.

Good luck to everyone still waiting. Even though I haven't posted but twice I have been following everyone's status every day.

Okay, weird....I just got another text and email saying that the hubby's EAD card has been sent for production. I already received a text/email on the 2nd but another one today. They want to be really certain he gets a card apparently.

OMG I JUST GOT AN EMAIL!

My AOS card (green card) has been ordered! Woot - shocking as I was expecting my EAD or AP first.

Quick question, am I right in thinking that my EAD and AP applications will be denied now as the Green Card is on its way?

Soooo my green card was approved last week and it arrived in post today

So happy can finally be normal again for first time in over a year...congrats to all those who hav also had approvals this month and fingers crossed for those who are waiting

Man, how did you guys get yours completed so quickly and without an interview? Is it cause of the cases being transferred to CSC?

I am assuming so, our was transferred to the CSC. I have also been told that the no interview was because I was from a country that is not a high fraud risk and because I had come over on the k-1 and already had an interview so they only interview again if its a high fraud country or something looks suspisious or raises a flag somewhere.

Apparently we look suss then. I don't see how....we provided massive amounts of information. Oh, well. Just means that we have to get all the stuff together. I'm just glad I was able to get Ham on all of the important accounts even though they wouldn't give him a SSN.

We are september filers. And, we just got an e-mail/text yesterday that AOS was approved and e-mail text today that card production had been ordered. Our AOS was approved in under 3 months. : )

Weird I got an email on the 8th saying card production ordered for my AOS. The same email again on the 9th saying card was ordered on the 8th and then today the 11th I logged into the website and it has gone back to post decision activity and says AOS approved.

This is normal right?

Not true. I also come from a country that is not high fraud. My husband and I also lived together in that country for 3 years before deciding to move to the US. Basically getting transferred has to do with how busy your local office is. Now if you get transferred BACK to the local office after being transferred to CSC its because something raised a flag and they decided an interview was necessary. If I had an interview because our application looked suspicious or they suspected fraud then someone didn't do there job because the only questions they asked me they read off the AOS form (including the are you a prostitute question that upsets so many) and the only docs they looked at was my EAD (which they kept) my passport and our divorce papers and marriage certificate. All of which they have already seen....repeatedly. The didn't ask us one personal question or for any proof of co-habitation.

I just want people to know that you are having an interview because of basically 'luck of the draw' not because you look suspicious and they are going to grill you to death once you get in there. If you got transferred back then you had best be well prepared to get grilled and if you know you are from a high fraud risk country you need to be well prepared as well. Actually everyone should be prepared but you dont need to get all freaked out about it. It was the easiest part of the process.

We have a new baby, born October 26th. Our AOS is pending, and we just had our biometrics today (file was touched today too!). Should I go ahead and send the USCIS an updated I-485 and I-864...even without an RFE?
