I485 denied (HELP ASAP)

I should also mention..do not make the mistake I made..the I-290B must be signed by the petitioner not the US Citizen or it will be rejected..I am speaking from experience

Do you mean the foreign beneficiary? The petitioner is a USC in K1s.

Naturalization

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

Do you mean the foreign beneficiary? The petitioner is a USC in K1s.

The foreign one is the on the american citizen got through the K-1. Then when you do the AOS I-485 it is the petitioner (the foreign one) that must sign it. A husband or wife can be allowed to represent at a motion or appeal.

The petitioner is the person who signs the petition. For an I-129F, it's a US citizen. For an I-485, it's a foreigner applying to become an immigrant.

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

I still feel like some KEY info is missing re why the application was denied. Please do tell!

I think we got a big clue in this post. He said he's got a disability that requires therapy, and they concluded the marriage might have been for convenience. I'm guessing his wife was schooled in nursing in the PI. :whistle:
