chances of in-law visa

My husband and I are thinking about sponsoring his parents for a vistor visa. He is graduating in Dec and would really like his parents to be part of it, as he is their only child.

so what are chances of getting a visitor visa for them? they only want to be here for max 2-3 weeks as my father in law has no one to take care of his business and farms back home.

has anyone had success in obtaining a visitor visa for the parents? any suggestions?

That is not a problem at all, all you have to do is send proof of your husband graudating and show how and who is going to bear the expenses.

You should also round up all the evidence and proof of your parents. Show your parents ownership of the business and farm land.

When my aunt and uncle in India did a tourist visa to visit their pregnant daughter-in-law & son in USA, they rounded up all this evidence on their business and homes.

Still they were asked a lot of questions at the interview and showed real proof that they could not stay away from India for long. They took home ownership documents, bank accounts, customer list with contact numbers, contracts with customers, customer correspondence, and somehow they showed that they could not leave India for long (i.e. proof that they are contacted frequently regarding regular matters for the business).

They were both awarded 10-year visas. Perhaps they were asked many questions in the interview because they had lots of documents/evidence to show, but in the end they went prepared with everything so they got the visa they were applying for.
