So does nancy Pelosi, she would like to restore the "fairness doctirne" to prevent people from saying what you are saying on the radio. That's OK?

It is PRIVATE PROPERTY paid for by PRIVATE funds. It is religious property and the government cannot stop a private organization from building a building in compliance with codes on its own property.

instead of following the "crazies" on the internet, you should take a look at an actual Quran, hold it in your hands, and READ IT FOR YOURSELF, rather than take fabricated quotes about it from hate groups on the internet then regurgitating them to others as fact.

People do the same with the bible too. Quotes are often used to explain or justify an action but are taken out of context or they are such vague statements that they can be interpreted in several different ways. What part of the clear and undeniable truth don't you get? The terrorists have associated themselves with Islam and clearly identify themselves as Muslim.

A lively debate can be had as to whether they are good Muslims or bad. A lively debate can be had about what proportion of Muslims see the terrorists as properly interpreting the quaran, how many are actively involved etc. etc.

But what is absolutely not debatable is if the terrorists are associated with Muslims and the Islamic faith. That fact may be hard to swallow, but it is a fact. It does not paint all Muslims as terrorists to recognize and admit to it.

just because they 'associate themselves' doesnt mean they 'represent' muslims or the islamic faith and this is what i am fed up with from small-minded people.

why is it, in all the shootouts just this year, have i not heard the religion of any of these idiots? but if any of them had been muslim you can bet your last dollar the news would have had that spread all over. just like the israeli who killed those 5 black men and attacked and wounded MANY more - not one news station here said his religion ... hmmmmmmm, wonder why?

interesting, but i see a lot of threats, MANY people spouting off that they are going to burn/vandalize the mosque which is 2 blocks from GZ, or they will attack the people going there, i even saw one man on the news saying he would BOMB it... but never one arrested as a terrorist or even detained and questioned. why arent they considered 'terrorists'? i also wonder how many people are watching the gov't persecuting religions throughout the states for my whole adult life... what will the christians do after they've allowed all religions to be destroyed and then the govt comes after them (it's actually already happening in small, quiet ways). perhaps we can be an atheist state like china. this is an interesting look at religion in the united states in the future if people now do now support each other regardless of religion, because regardless whether my religion is different from yours, WE have religious freedom here, for the time being.

There have been hundreds of thousands of people in the Klan, only a small percentage took part in crimes, is it fair to paint the group as a whole through the deeds of a few? (using the logic of some here)

The reason more and more people are concerned about Islam is because this anti-west attitude seems to be all over the place.

In so many countries, in many Mosques even on our Universities.

That doesn't make all muslims guilty by any stretch but .... fewer and fewer people perceive the problem to be "just a few crazies out there".

Acknowledging this, doesn't make people want to persecute people off the street or to outlaw Islam.... it's just facing a reality of the problem.

What part of they're not true Muslims and not following the true path of Islam do you fail to understand? Continuing to bury the reality of the guilt by association and bigotry toward Muslims as a whole in denial is not particularly smart, and it's inherently transparent.
