Hello to evrybody,

sorry for asking , maybe, a silly question, but when people here are talking about to send the docs for the AOS process to the "Lockbox Chicago address" it is meant to be the address of "US Citizenship and Immigration Services - P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120"?

It is the address that is on the instruction sheets for 485. I think that address you stated is correct. I dont have the instruction infront of me at this moment.

What happens if someone sent the AOS application to the wrong address? A friend of mine sent his wife's AOS package to the place where they originally filed the fiancee visa petition (by mistake) and now he is worried about what might happen. Should he send in another one to the right Chicago Lockbox? My guess would be to wait it out and they will probably forward it on to Chicago, although it will just delay the application.
