Advance Parole Application lost?

Hi everyone!

We had filed for Immigration (I-130), Adjustment of Status, EAD and Advance Parole concurrently on 10th August. I received three receipt numbers in text/email on 24th August. When I called USCIS up, they said they have not received my application for Advance Parole, and they do not have it in their system, but they acknowledged my other applications. I realized today that we had sent 5 photographs of mine in total (I am the beneficiary). I suppose we had to send 7 photographs in total? Now, is it because of this that the AP application is not in their system? Or has it been lost? Shouldn't I just receive an RFE for the photographs? They say I should reapply for I-131 Advance Parole. They don't comment when I mention the photographs part! Would an infopass appointment be useful? Thank you!

You could do an INFOPASS - but if they are telling you now they don't have it - then you should take a completed 131 with you to submit at that time.

You will need to show the NOA from the 485, so they don't charge you.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Thanks! I just sent a new I-131 yesterday, with cover letter and references! I hope they don't lose it this time around :)
