Hello guys, i called last week to the NVC to see if they alredy have completed my case.

i send the papers on August 7th and they update at the machine that they received them August 9th and well im curious to see if they have any news yet , do you think i should call them now or wait till next week?

Which papers did you send on august 7?

We sent the DS230(Visa App). They already recieved the I864(Support). When I called they acknowleged that both packets were received and it will take 2-6weeks before they can review the packets to see if everything is valid or if we missed something. I am certain we have finished all the required paperwork for this portion of the process. I believe it will take at least one more week for them to review our papers.

I am certain we have finished all the required paperwork for this portion of the process. I believe it will take at least one more week for them to review our papers.

They will also conduct a name/security check based on the DS-230. If no hit or security issue and going on the results over the past months, case complete is generally 1-2 weeks. This, as with anything can vary either way.
