Ok anyone have any words of wisdom on this one..

I seem to have TWO case numbers for my I-485.. I dont know where i get one from.. i cant find any paperwork with that number on? but i must of got it from somewhere, did i just mistype and get someone elses case number?

The thing is, they are being "touched" on exactly the same days. the only reason i am querying this is becasue one them it says an RFE has been sent the other initial review, i am hoping i dont have an RFE, infact if i do i am gonna be pi$$ed as i spent ages dotting the I's and crossing T's.. All my I797's relating to my I-485 have the case number with initial review..

Anyway, do you think it would be worth calling the disimformation line to find out if i do actually have an RFE?

i havent gotten anything in the post and its been a while since it says the RFE was sent.

I would call the uscis at least to find out which case number is yours. Then you'll know if you have an RFE or not. Did you file the I765 with the I485 because that might explain the two case numbers.

Go by the number on your NOA 1. Also did you file for AP/EAD? Then you would have additional receipt numbers. It could be that you mistyped a number.

did you file advanced parole and/or EAD concurrently with the I-485 ?

maybe it's time to make a phone call, get an ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/gc_1221837986181.shtm#5

Good Luck !

Well that was quite painful, until my call got escalated... Turns out i had guessed someone elses receipt number.. how, i have no idea but if your recipt number ends with 5559, good luck with the RFE..

So the good news is i dont have a an RFE but the bad news is i have to drive to philadelphia again for an interview, the lady told me my case was trasnfered to the local office and is ready to be sheduled for an interview.. aww poooooo I was hoping to get away without another interview.

Just to let you know for your timeline, I believe when they refer to case transfer they are talking about being transferred to CSC with no interview and not just taken to your local office.
