I am an unfortunate June filer to California Service Center. My i-751 is still pending and don’t know how long it takes for it to approve; California Service Center is working backwards and have starter approving the July filer and did not get to the May or June filers yet … any way .. my wife is pregnant and due for delivery in December I wan to bring my parent here to help out and care for the baby during these times… I am form India and is one of those countries that needs a tourist visa to visit U.S.A the tourist visa sponsorship application requires me to submit an Affidavit Of Support.

Now has anyone sponsored family for a tourist visa while i-751 is pending? Can I file with the expired green card and an extension letter?
