Hey All,

I have my 10 year GC and SS card in hand and I am planning on travelling with my 2 year old in December. What do I need to travel other than passports and my GC? Also does anyone have experience of using the GC when ending through Newark International, what were the CBP people like, I'm nervous to use my new card.

Valid GC is all you need to enter the US.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Ok so my GC to reenter, do I show them my passport or just my GC?

Also I know the Newark is super busy, so wondering how that is coming back with a GC and what experiences people have had. I'm nervous as I am flying with my 2 year old and I would hate to get stopped and do the secondary questioning.

You just need your greencard for CBP - however, carry your passport - some airlines won't process you unless they see it (for some reason).
