My aunt works for the US gov't and she has inner ties with some pretty high up congressmen officials. She had one of there secretaries do some personal inquires on what is the hold up on me and my wives petition. Here is the email response.

Charmayne,

Following our conversation this morning I made an “unofficial” inquiry on behalf of your nephew and learned there does not seem to be any type of problem with this petition; it is just a matter of time. I followed that inquiry up with an official one, which it is likely to take a few days before I receive a response. I will let you know if I learn anything definitive, but at this point I would expect this petition to be approved in the very near future.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Pam

Focusing on the bolded parts, from the information she gathered. March/April petitions are going to be start being approved at a rapid rate VERY shortly. Most likely will be a push this week and the week after the American Holdiay Labor day. I hope this lifts some spirits. Many of us have been waiting longer than 5 months. As she gets more info Ill be sure to update this thread.

It has always been a matter of time. And if your sole raison d'être of celebration is "at this point I would expect this petition to be approved in the very near future," then I must throughly and intentfully burst your bubble. Even I could've said that to you and I know nothing about USCIS. But I hope that behind these wishful statements, there lurks some truth. I'd like for everyone to be approved. I'd also like my application to be approved also.

God! USCIS has made me so pessimistic.

Perhpas his aunt will not appreciate it. But these are public servents. We're suppose to be able to know where they work, at what capacity, and how much they make. And we are supposed to know how to contact them. So it's cool.

He didn't post her home address.

The only difference being this was a direct inquiry.

I removed her number. The email address is common information on the web.

I have contacted him and asked him to edit out the personal information and once he has done so, the post will be returned to the thread.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
