^^ Blinking, sparkling, little Toto like dog with a gold feather in it's jaws.

I saw a doggy like this in a bicycle basket a the curb cup competition this last weekend In Boise.

The curb cup is where all kinds of entertaining acts are on the streets downtown competing for wooden chips to win the trophy.

They had trick bicyclists, burlesque girls, belly dancers, break dancers, over 100 bands, comedians, magicians, impersonators, actors, skate boarders, karate kids, ect...

I think the jump rope team won the curb cup. Their bucket was over flowing with wooden chips.

Good morning!

Morning Olivia!

Hard to believe August is about over. Time is flying. September is going to be a good month!

The sun was setting yesterday evening when we were on our way home from dinner. The color

of the mountains were a deep purple and red! We stopped and just looked at how beautiful they

were....the hues of green, purple and red!!! So clear....perfect in every way. What an awesome

sight to see.

to take it one day at a time It is getting closer to my fiance interview so I welcome September with open arms :)

Good morning MENA!!! Hello Olivia, Jeanne, Patient and Charles... Olivia I haven't a clue as to what to do in September... if she is chosen, Autumn will start tutoring on the 13th... she's struggling and i don't know what to do... i wanted to get her ready for February to try for an Alternative school...that school has a band and hers doesn't.. she will be far behind if she has to wait until high school as far a music goes.. i want her to be a well rounded child, but academics comes first...not only this I will be helping my oldest daughter find a job... she been looking and nothing yet.. she had 1 interview with Kmart and didn't do well because she was very nervous... habibi wants his greencard so he can start looking for new employment where he can be off on the weekends like me and get of at 5 instead of 7.. i hope it pays more money.. i may start taking classes online at night(habibi hogs the computer when he gets home)through my job.. it's free and i can even use them on my resume to try to get hired at a better job... Olivia i pray you get that job... Jeanne did you take a picture of last night... i'm quite sure everyone would love to have seen that...Patient i pray all goes well with the interview and Charles I have the Green Mile and I haven't seen it :blush: .. nor have I seen Forrest Gump.. :blink: i really need a vacation from it all, but alas :blush:

Good morning everyone else!!

I can't believe August is over too, this year has gone by way too fast. September is a busy month for me, next week I'm having surgery and then 10 days later I'm leaving for Egypt and to prepare for our interview.

My time in Detroit is going ok, I'm able to see a lot of old friends which has been nice. Mohamed finally called me yesterday and thankfully all is well, he was returning to Cairo this morning.

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday!

Olivia~I wish they had something like that here! Curb Cup...never heard of it but it sounds like fun!

Jeanne~ I bet the sky is beautiful there! I was showing hubby the sky here going over the causeway. Never before have I see such a beautiful blue sky with so many clouds! That was the one thing I missed when I moved up to Atlanta and now that I am back I love it every day.

Patient~Good luck on your fiance's interview!!

Charles, I thought of you this morning when I heard on the radio all of the dvd's being released today. I didn't quite catch the complete list but I was hoping you posted it on here!

Wonderful~ I love Tom Hanks movies! The only one I didn't care for was Apollo 13 or whatever it was called about the astronauts...:blush:

Mandy~I hope everything is ok for your surgery!!! I know you have to be excited about going back to Egypt and seeing your habibi! I'm jealous! I loved Cairo!

Well, tonight is open house for my son's school. I almost dread it. Who else but my son has all ready been suspended on the 3rd week of school??? :unsure: Aww man, I can tell it's going to be a loooooooonnnnnnngggggggggg year!!!

September will be so busy for me . 9 days till Eid Elfater and its Just 23 days till we will go to FL .And i hope that i will hear something soon about my GC .

Does anyone of you guys know a cheap place to buy shisha stuff ? I bought some shisha stuff from ebay and from another store in CA but they are kinda exp .

I liked the series FlashForward, Charles, before it got cancelled.

Jenell I hope things work out for the best for your daughters, that your hubby gets his greencard and new job soon, and you know you can always get a router and another computer if sharing the internet is a problem while trying to take night classes.

Mandy I'm glad to hear M is well. I didn't realize you were having surgery and then flying to Egypt. I hope everything goes well with that and I'm glad you had a nice time with friends and family in Detroit.

Andrea Curb Cup was pretty neat. I'm trying to upload videos so you all can watch them. It was loud there so the sound quality is not so great.

Hot Guy I hope you get your green card soon as well. Florida sounds wonderful still. I think Andrea's tips on shisha products might be something to look into.
