Yep, i screwed up when filling out her DS230. Question 30 i put her street address under City/Town and also didnt put the date she turned 16 to present. All i put was present.

Anyways.

How do i go about fixing this once the checklist letter comes? Can i just fix that one question and leave the rest blank or do i have to submit the whole DS230 all filled out again with her signature?

:help:

Blah.

Submit the whole thing filled out again, unless you want another RFE for blank answers on the new DS230!

You got your RFE pretty quickly, maybe the NVC is moving a little faster to examine the documents ...

Hope you get your DS230 fixed in a giffy - are they sending the checklist via email ?

Yea there have been a few people who had their case completed within 4 weeks lately. Seems like they moving faster.

I didnt ask if they mailed it or emailed. Others have mentioned i should receive the checklist via email after two days of hearing the AVR stating missing/incorrect documents. Which for me was on Friday. Im hoping i get emailed something by tomorrow.

Lucky for me i have extras of the signed ds230 from the wife.

Hey friend.. any news from NVC? looks like we have to wait again from scratch. by the way this is total BS. hope we hear soon from these *()&*(& ppl.

Yes, we do but still seems like others are getting approved within 3-4 weeks.

Honestly, i dont blame anyone other than myself for the mistake. Not NVC fault that i didnt fill it out properly. :(

It's best to learn from your mistakes. And you're so close to the finish line. Everyone should get multiple copies of everything signed.

If you have typewritter, you can fill it out by typing. Just make sure you get one of those erasable typewriters and be very very patient and careful in aliging everything.

Then how about my case. Same wife (no replacement), but 2 time hassles!

That's EASY!

1. remove silver spoon from her mouth

2. melt the silver spoon

3. sell off the resulting silver ingot, for USD.

4. with new monies, buy the heart murmur medication that you need.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
