A libertarian is one who wants the maximum personal freedom while having the minimum government intervention. A conservative is one who expouses traditional ideals. The two are not the same.

Why do you choose to describe Tea Partiers by the devisive term tea baggers? You lower yourself and discredit anything you say by using that term. It would be the same as someone calling any liberal a "dope smoking hippy". It does nothing to bring two sides together and everything to harden opinions.

"Tea baggers" is almost too nice of a terminology. Any group of people that chooses to be represented by the likes of Sarah Palin and Glen Beck deserve any and all criticism they receive imo.

With attitudes like this our country has no hope of ever coming together. Like it or not the Tea party is a force to be contended with. It isn't going away and dismissing them as crackpots isn't going to help.

The NAZI's were a force to be contended with back in 1930's Germany...it doesn't mean they were a good thing...nor does it mean they deserve any kind of respect.

The "Tea baggers" are just further proof of the dumbing down of America. "Survivor Island", and the reelection of George Bush Jr. should have been the first clue.
