Cato institute is not a well respected source. It is funded by the Koch brothers to skew facts and influence public policy. Weren't you ever taught to research and questions your sources before quuoting them? Anyhow it was just a suggestion in case you were interested in sounding less like an idiot, take it or leave.

Well the problem is some on here always question a source, because it basically does not support their views. If I see legitimate data presented, I will analyze it; rather than mock it as being a lie, simply because its from a source that does not support my view. Actually the first sign of an extremist regarding an issue is someone who refuses to even acknowledge data on a topic.

More often than not, for political or ideological reasons, reliable government sources do not collect certain data. For example, try find the equivalent data I posted regarding a breakdown of immigration, particularly illegal immigration.

Well the problem is some on here always question a source, because it basically does not support their views. On the contrary, it is extremely important to question the source. Would you seriously believe a BP funded study that said "90% of the oil in GOM has dissipated"? Or would you believe your local nuclear plant funded study that said "75% of the U-235 are not radioactive"? I dont know how the Aussie academia drink their kool-aid, but in American academia the source of the study is just as important as the methodology and interpretation of the results. Granted this is OT and not a university, but cherry-picking facts and studies to promote your biased views on a certain ethnic group is unacceptable.

He always cherry picks his facts and when someone points that out he disregards their information, even when credible links are provided. I believe this is hypocritical.
