You don't have to submit all these to VFS. Show the appointment letter, passport and any checklist received from NVC/Consulate.

It is a good idea to send all the set of I-130, I-864, DS-230 photocopies to the beneficiary, just in case.

Sometimes the VFS asks for photocopies of the documents you already submitted. They might ask for another photocopy of the PCCs or some other document.

They may also ask you for a signed DS-230. I think you may also be submitting the Medical to the VFS.

You may also need to submit some passport size photographs to the VFS.

You should know based on the interview letter what items to take to the VFS.

You also have to pay VFS Rupees 387. I think you have to get a Demand Draft from HDFC bank but you should confirm with others - or with VFS directly - about what payment method they accept.

You don't have to take another set of photo copies to the interview if you have already submitted orignals with NVC. However, VFS might ask you photocopies of the originals you submitted with NVC.

For the interview, you would need the following:

- petitioner's tax documents (tax filings, w2s, 1099s...)

- proof of ongoing relationship (life insurance, bank, phone logs, pictures taken interim travel during processing, affidavits...)

cheers

The exact answer will vary by city - so tell us, which city will the interview be in

and which city is the VFS office that you are required to deal with?

Thanks in advance for answering !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
