DS-230 question

My permanent resident parent filed I-130 for me, which was approved and now I'm going through NVC processing. I'm under 21 so I go as a child, in the F2A. Spouses of the permanent residents are also in this category.

According to the guide for spouses found here, after the IV bill is paid, I have to mail in DS-230 with all the supporting evidence, like birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc. I've read elsewhere that children should not do this and they have to bring these documents and form DS-230 to the consulate already.

The question is, what happens to my case after the IV bill is paid, is it forwarded to the appropriate consular section at once, omitting the DS-230 stage?

It appears that only DS-230 Part 1 needs to be sent if I'm a child, but not the originals of my documents or any RFEs.

Please help, what happens after IV Fee Bill is paid and processed?

can you let me know please how long have you wait from the day that you got the approval to receive any letter from NVC?
