I was actually the MOST worried about it getting lost in the mail or something. I mean, I have copies of EVERYTHING, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I definitely feel better that it's been signed for and in the hands of the USCIS.

Hahaha, when I told my fiance that we could check online to see if our case had been "touched" once the check is cashed, he said "Oh no. We're going to have to tear you away from that computer aren't we?"

I've got a nasty little feeling that checking for updates becomes a very addictive drug. Very quickly, eh?

But it only lasts while you're at USCIS. It's comforting actually. At the embassy level, most of the time, you have no idea what the ####### is going on.
